Brunei Darussalam Government Scholars

Under a special scholarship scheme for students from ASEAN, ISESCO and Commonwealth countries, the Government of His Majesty Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan dan Yang Di-Pertuan Negara Brunei Darussalam, every academic year, offers scholarships to eighteen ASEAN students (including nine for MSc Petroleum Geoscience), five ISESCO students and five Commonwealth students.

The ASEAN student scholarship scheme has been offered since 1985. The ISESCO student scheme was started in 1993 while the Commonwealth student scheme was only started in 1995. This scholarship scheme aims at providing opportunities for students from those countries to enroll in the degree programmes at this university.
