The Student Affairs Section was established
in the 1987/1988 academic session. The Dean, Dr Ampuan
Hj Brahim bin Ampuan Hj Tengah is at the helm assisted by the
Deputy Deans and Assistant Registrar. The mission of the Student
Affairs Section is to provide an excellent and effective
administrative machinery for student services and development. This section aims to make the university a centre
of excellence, both in intellectual and personality development.
It also aims to produce graduates with the following qualities:

Knowledgable, possessing high moral values
and positive attitudes.

Responsible, disciplined and upholding
the characteristics and identity of the Bruneian way of life.

Having the ability to think in a mature
manner and act responsibly.

Able to accept constructive criticism
and be tolerant.

Active and ready to lead and render help,
to love their people, religion and country.

Good leadership qualities, good conduct
and sensitive towards the problems and needs of the community.

Have the right balance of cognitive
knowledge and understandings, and the right attitudes and
values which are necessary to produce well rounded, useful
individuals, in keeping with UBD's motto: Kearah
Kesempurnaan Insan.
