Printing and binding

ETC has extensive facilities for printing and binding and skilled operational staff. This enables the Centre to produce materials which meet high quality standards and house styles. A complete range of printing - from black and white to high quality colour - is offered.

Printing and binding is undertaken on request.

Services provided to create a range of finished products include collating, stapling, cutting, drilling, padding, folding, comb binding, Velo binding and heat binding.

Letter heads, envelopes, compliment slips, memo pads and other stationery items are printed according to the requirements of the university. Staff may request printing of hand outs, books and other relevant materials.

Publications

ETC prints and publishes for UBD such items as:

• books and monographs
• conference papers and working papers
• training manuals and handbooks
• brochures and leaflets

Some materials are available for purchase from ETC.

Graphics

Graphics services include:

• Diagrams and technical illustrations for use in teaching and publications
• Preparing artwork for slides, overhead transparencies and video productions
• Layout of typography and illustrations
• Design of covers, certificates, brochures, posters and charts

Security printing

ETC can arrange for printing of confidential documents (exam papers, for example)
