Day 1 – Arrival in Brunei Darussalam (D)
Upon arrival to Brunei International Airport, transfers to hotel will be done. Once checked-in, you are free at leisure till 1830pm. A steamboat dinner at the restaurant will follow with a night tour. Overnight stay at Terrace Hotel.
Day 2 – Miri, Sarawak – sightseeing (B/L/D)
After breakfast, there'll be an early transfer to Miri. The journey takes approximately 2 hours. enjoy scenic drive along Brunei's coastal highway. As we pass through the 3 districts, we'll be last greeted by Kuala Belait where the oil and gas industry is. We'll arrive Miri around 1845. Flight to Mulu departs at 2205 from Miri Airport. Transfers to the hotel of your choice will be arranged on arrival. In the afternoon we will be transferred to Mulu Park HQ and take the 3 km plankwalk to explore Lang’s and Deer Caves. Watch bats in flight if weather permits!
Day 3 – MIRI – MULU (B/L/D)
Breakfast will be followed by departure on long boat to Wind Cave with a stopover at the Penan Longhouse. We proceed to explore Clearwater cave. Swim at Clearwater cave, with lunch enroute back to Royal Mulu Resort. Royal Mulu Resort for dinner and overnight.
Day 4 – MULU – MIRI - KUCHING (B/D)
After breakfast you're free to explore the surrounding Mulu area on your own before your transfer from Mulu airport at 1535 to Miri airport. (Lunch at paxs own account) From Miri we'll connect to Kuching at 1725 and will be greeted by the tour guide. An assisted to Crowne Plaza Riverside Kuching will follow with dinner. Accommodation at Crowne Plaza Riverside.
Day 5 – LONGHOUSE AND LEMENAK RIVER SAFARI (B/L/D)
After breakfast in hotel, We depart at 0900 the Safari. Driving up through scenic routes of fields of pepper and rubber to the Lemenak River. We stop along the way to visit an excellent market in Seria town and lunch at mid-way. A delightful 45mins boat ride later, we arrive at Nanga Kesit. We'll have time for orientation tour of the long house. In the evening, a welcoming celebration of the Iban dance will grace your presence making it an unforgettable experience. Overnight stay at the River Lodge.
Day 6 – LONGHOUSE (B/L/D)
After breakfast, have fun participating in the blowpipe demonstration. Later, you will be taken for an enlightening nature walk and continue to trek to Sekandis longhouse. Enjoy a wonderful daywith a picnic lunch by the river. In the afternoon, paddle down river to return to your Lodge. Overnight stay at the River Lodge.
Day 7 – LONGHOUSE – KUCHING – DEPARTURE – BKI (B/L/D)
After breakfast, we proceed down river by boat and then overland for the return journey to kuching, where you will be transferred to the airport for your onward evening flight to Kota Kinabalu at 1515 on MH2820. Overnight stay at Hyatt Regency Kinabalu hotel.
Day 8 – BKI – SANDAKAN (B/L/D)
On arrival at Sandakan airport by MH 2024 eta 0700hours, we'll proceed to Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation centre. A 10 mins trek through the rainforest ensures you witness the feeding of Orang Utan at 1000hours and a video show. Continuing on to Sandakan jetty for an estimated 2 hours boat ride to Sukau Rainforest Lodge along Sabah’s longest river, the kinabatangan. An opportunity to view birds and wildlife in virgin mangrove, wetland and rainforest habitats. In the late afternoon, a two hour river cruise using electric motor takes you in search of the 10 primate species including Proboscis monkeys.
Return for a solar heated hot shower, candle light dinner and slide show conducted by our naturalist guide. Overnight stay at Sukau Rainforest Lodge.
Day 9 – SANDAKAN – KINABATANGAN – SUKAU (B/L/D)
Wake up to the calls of gibbons and hornbills. At 0600 morning river cruise up the Kinabatangan river to view more birds and wildlife. Proceed to the Kelenanap ox-bow lake for a short jungle walk (if weather permits). Experience the wilderness of Borneo. You have the option to participate in our conversation project by planting trees at our 64acres of adopted land In the afternoon, we proceed for another river cruise. After dinner there is an optional (at a surcharge) night safari cruise to spot nocturnal animals, crocodiles and birds. Overnight stay at Sukau Rainforest Lodge.
Day 10 – SANDAKAN – LABUAN (B/L/D)
After breakfast, return to Sandakan by boat journey. Lunch at Sandakan before proceeding for a short tour of Sandakan town including water village, The Agnes Keith House (closed on Friday) and The Australian War Memorial. Transfer to airport for departure flight on MH2065 etd 17.20 to Kota Kinabalu then connecting to Labuan. Overnight in labuan.
Day 11 – LABUAN ISLAND (B/L)
Half day in Labuan for a tour. Ferry to Brunei will depart after lunch. Then check into Empire Hotel. Free at leisure – Overnight.
Day 12 – Bandar Splendour Tour/Water Village/Proboscis Monkey Tour (B/L/D)
1) BANDAR SPLENDOUR TOUR - An eye-opening 4 hour tour which unfolds parts of the Bruneian history, religion, culture, heritage and daily lifestyle. The tour includes a photo stop outside the royal palace, Istana Nurul Iman - the biggest residential palace in the world. You will also visit the Jame Asr’ Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque.
Get set to tour “The Venice of The East”, the infamous Water Village on a literally breathtaking water taxi ride and walk around to witness the houses on stilts. Nearby, The National Museum boasts Brunei’s Muslim heritage. You can view the rare Islamic collections of His Majesty, Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah; natural history collections; cultural and traditional local artefacts; sunken treasures and the foundation of Oil and Gas industry.
Next stop: The Royal Regalia, home to a collection of royal regalias, royal chariot, gold and silver ceremonial armory and most importantly – His Majesty’s jewel encrusted crown.
2) WATER VILLAGE TOUR - After lunch, enjoyable boat ride in Brunei’s mode of transport on water (water taxi) for a tour in The Water Village or popularly known as “The Venice of The East”, walk around the water village to witness the houses built on stilts to learn their way of living above water.
3) BRUNEI’S PROBOSCIS MONKEY TOUR - After water village tour, we then proceed to the proboscis monkey tour. This popular tour consists of a leisurely cruise through the mangroves in search of the wild Proboscis Monkey, an endangered species that are only found in the island of Borneo. Our guide will explain about the Nipah Palm and Mangroves forest. The Brunei government does not practise commercial logging thus our forests are in pristine condition. We may also get the opportunity to see various birds of prey, king fishers, mangrove snakes, monitor lizards, otters, flying foxes and salt water crocodiles. Enjoy the evening sunset and also experience the spectacular sight of hundreds of egrets flying back to the mangrove trees for the night. (Binoculars are included)

Day 13 – Ulu Temburong National Park – Day tour (B/L)
One of our very popular tours: The journey from Bandar Seri Begawan to Bangar relies on public transport (speedboat) and the route snakes its way through the water village, scenic view of the nipah lined rivers and mangrove forests before arriving at Bangar. At Bangar, we have a brief stop and then onward to an Iban village (Kg Batang Duri). From Kg Batang Duri, we shall take the ‘temuai’ (Iban longboat) and pushes through numerous rapids before getting to the National Park. Upon arrival, you will need to register with the National Park and then proceed to a nature walk. The nature walk displays a wide variety of insects, flora and fauna. Along the way, we shall cross hanging bridge and stop to climb the canopy walkway to view the forest top. At the end of the nature walk, we shall have a picnic lunch by the riverbank. Thereafter, you can relax; enjoy a refreshing swim in the clear water, before departing for Bangar town.
Day 14 – BRUNEI (B)
Free at leisure or optional tour.
Day 15 – BRUNEI (B)
Check out at noon and return to airport.

Things You Should Know
▪ In Kuching, you will need (for the longhouse trip) comfortable walking shoes, bath towel, and small bar of soap and insect repellent.
▪ The Sarawak Museum closes every Friday.
▪ In Mulu, Park regulations are that visits to Wind & Clearwater Caves are between 09.00am till 12.00noon and visits to Deer & Lang Caves are between 2.00 pm till 4.00 pm. The Park is very strict on this as this is for the protection of the caves. Cave lighting will be switched off at the prescribed time schedules.
▪ Clients are advised to travel light (for the Mulu tour) and to take only what is required in a small bag in view of weight restrictions. Only 10 kg per person is allowed.
▪ Clients are to be advised that camera / video fees are to be paid during registration at the park HQ and to be paid directly to the park. Current fees are at RM5.00 per camera and RM10.00 per video camera. Permit for filming equipment and filming requirements will have to be applied prior to arrival.
▪ Recommended film for cave picture taking is ASA 400.
You will need good walking shoes with good grip (it tends to be slippery especially after rain,) light clothing, hat, insect repellent, torch, swim wear, small backpack / sling pack to put your things. For trips to Pinnacles, a sleeping bag is required.
▪ The journey involves many longboat trips and on occasion assistance may be required by the guide and boat driver to help push the boat for some part of the river when water level is lower than normal.
▪ It is compulsory that life jackets (provided in the boats) be worn at all times during river trips.
▪ In Brunei, dress code for women should be long sleeves or at least covering the arms. Short skirts should be avoided, as visits to mosques will prohibit such visitors from entering.
