About MIB Medical Science Conference

MIB stands for Malaysia, Indonesia, and Brunei Darussalam and it is the first time to be hosted in Brunei Darussalam.  This follows the ‘Malaysia-Indonesia Medical Science Conference’ held in Jakarta in August 2006 that was co-organized by the University of Indonesia and Universiti Kebangsaan, Malaysia.

Conference will comprise of 1 expert forum, 3 plenary sessions, 12 parallel symposia (46 papers), 8 parallel free paper sessions (46 papers) and up to 60 posters.
Venue: the Rizqun International Hotel, Brunei Darussalam

Official Language

The official language of the Conference is English. There will be no simultaneous interpretation.

Letter of Invitation

Participants who require the invitation letter may write to the Conference Secretariat at kennylyp@im.ubd.edu.bn or shreliza@admin.ubd,edu.bn.   It is to be understood that such an invitation is intended to help potential participants raise travel funds or obtain a visa.  It is not a commitment on the part of the Organising Committee to provide any financial support.

The Institute of Medicine, Universiti Brunei Darussalam and the Organising Committee of the MIB Medical Science Conference shall not be held responsible for personal accidents, illness, losses or damage to private property or registered delegates of the MIB Medical Science Conference. Delegates are advised to arrange for their personal insurance for the duration of the conference and tours.
Whilst every attempt will be made to ensure that all aspects of the conference mentioned in this website will take place as scheduled, the Organising Committee reserves the right to make last minute changes should the need arise without prior notice.
