Workshop on Energy Materials and Engineering

Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD):

UBD is the the first University in Brunei Darussalam, established in 1985. In a relatively short period of time, UBD has advanced and expanded both academically and infrastructurally, producing influential leaders, entrepreneurs and professionals, always aligned to its mission to develop the individual and society as a whole. By 2015, UBD aims to be in the top 50 in Aisa.

Faculty of Integrated Technologies (FIT):

FIT a new faculty in Universiti Brunei Darussalam was inaugurated in 2012. The faculty emphasizes a quality design centric broad-based engineering education with innovative curriculum and cutting edge engineering research. The undergraduate GenNext engineering curriculum has been developed through collaborative works with world leading technological universities. FIT aim for world class research and development which will be achieved by collaboration and active engagement with top research institutes around the world.

Energy Research Group (URG), UBD:

UBD has an extensive research programme dedicated to energy research, paying particular attention to renewable and alternative energy. The programme encourages a multi-track approach in tackling energy issues, collaborating with regional and international universities to facilitate joint energy research, including policy, energy technology development, as well as new and alternative energy.

Chalmers University of Technology (CTH):

Chalmers University of Technology was established in Gothenburg, Sweden on June 11, 1811. Over these two hundred years it has become one of the leading technological Universities in Sweden as well as in the world (Engineering Rank: 46). Teaching and research are carried out by Chalmers' 16 departments with about 10000 students. Chalmers’ ambition to contribute to sustainable development and alternative energy is based on the work carried out in departments in the form of research and teaching.

Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission (BAEC):

BAEC, a leading research and development organisation in Bangladesh, was established in February 1973. Since then BAEC has been engaged in the planning and development of acquiring nuclear technology for possible peaceful applications, in the fields of Materials, Food, Agriculture, Health, Industry and Environment ensuring nuclear safety and radiation protection.
