  • UBD Co-hosts AUN Meet

    Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) this week co-hosted with the ASEAN University Network (AUN), on three back-to- back AUN events from 24th to 26th July 2018 at The Rizqun International Hotel, Brunei Darussalam. The three events were the 10th ASEAN University Network (AUN) Rectors' Meeting, the 34th AUN-BOT (AUN Board of Trustees) Meeting and the 4th ASEAN+3 Rectors' Conference. The meetings were co-hosted by Yang Mulia UBD Vice Chancellor Datin Dr Dayang Hajah Anita Binurul Zahrina binti Pehin OrangKaya Laila Wijaya Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Abdul Aziz, and the AUN Executive Director Dr Choltis Dhirathiti. The three meetings were attended by AUN member university presidents, vice presidents and representatives.

  • UBD Rises To 323 In The World

    Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) achieved another major milestone. It leapt up the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings by a substantial 26 places. It now places at 323 in the world. Breaking into the QS World University Rankings for the first time last year in the top 1.3 percent of all universities globally, UBD continues to show remarkable progress for a young 33-year old university.
