RESIDENTIAL ACCOMODATION
When you are choosing a university the choice, quality, and cost of accommodation on offer are important factors. Our Residential College will help you find a place to live on campus at affordable prices throughout your time at UBD.
You can choose to stay in one of the following rooms:
- Standard. For single person occupancy, the rent is B$45.00 per month or B$180.00 per semester, with an added deposit of B$50.00
- Deluxe. For a group of four students, rent is B$400 per month and a deposit of B$50.00.
Guaranteed Accommodation
All first-year postgraduate students (overseas fee) are guaranteed a place in University accommodation provided they accept a place and pay course fees. Applicants paying fees after continue to be offered accommodation, subject to availability, and we are normally able to offer accommodation throughout August and September.
Residential Facilities
Our accommodation is arranged in groups of self-catered areas called Residential College and have been designed to meet your needs and provide you with proper living space. UBD has separate male and female residential colleges. These colleges provide accommodation for 746 students.
The male Residential College comprises four blocks in which can accommodate 296 students. The college is situated near Jerudong beach and it is of 10-minutes walking distance to the Institute of Medicine.
Female Residential College consists of 6 blocks as is 10-minutes walk to the University Mosque.
All University student bedrooms have fast broadband, and a telephone service is available. To help with day-to-day living, there are laundrettes, bookshop and convenient shop on campus.
