Objectives

To formulate policies, guidelines and regulations on Postgraduate Studies and University Research in consultation with the Vice Chancellor, for consideration and endorsement by the University Senate and Council, where applicable.

To monitor and review from time to time the development of Postgraduate programmes and University Research and to make recommendations on changes for consideration and approval of the University Senate and Council.

To deal with any matters pertaining to postgraduate studies and research matters as referred to by the University Senate and Council.

To work together with the Admissions and Student Records Section and the International Office in all matters pertaining to postgraduate admissions and marketing /promotion of Postgraduate programmes.
