Introduction
The International Office was formed to “market the University overseas and establish collaborative partnerships with overseas institutions so that the University can achieve its aim of internationalization, thus making it an institution of international repute.
FunCtion
- To establish and develop collaborative partnerships with overseas institutions so that the University can achieve its internationalization objectives;
- To conduct the marketing of the University internationally so that the University can become an institution of high international repute;
- To develop and implement effective marketing strategies and programmes for recruitment of more overseas students;
- To develop, provide and publish information and publicity materials to increase the profile of the University internationally;
- To oversee and deal with all public relations matters with overseas institutions, bodies, persons (international relations) in coordination with relevant authorities of the University.
The other functions of the Educational Technology Centre are to contribute relevant courses within the University as required by the various faculties and to work with other academic support services to promote improved methods of teaching and learning as well as to conduct research into the role of media and communication technologies in the teaching and learning process.
