Master of teaching
This leading edge Master of Teaching (MTeach) degree will provide prospective teachers with a professional qualification for entry to the teaching profession. Based on the disciplinary knowledge and critical analytic skills of graduate entry students, the MTeach degree prepares teachers to make a real difference in the classroom. This innovative programme links theory and practice to provide powerful insights into learners and the teaching process. With a deep understanding of what and how students learn, and confidence to innovate, teachers will be ready to take the first step on a rewarding career path to the top of the profession.

There Are Four Specialist Streams:
Early Childhood Education and Care
Primary Education
Secondary Education
Vocational Technical Education
To Apply
Normal entry requirements for the programme are;
- A good honours degree (at least second class lower) or equivalent from a recognised university.
- Evidence of excellent English communication skills at the level of, at least, IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL 600.
- For the Primary and Early Childhood Education streams, an applicant must have, in addition, at least GCE 'O' level 6, in English, Mathematics and a Science subject.
- For the Secondary and Vocational and Technical Education streams, the applicantʼs undergraduate studies must be relevant to the choice of subject specialisation such as a Major and Minor in the chosen Learning Areas.
- Successful performance in an interview.
