The Language Centre is offering the Arabic Language course (Level 1) for the public under its Continuing Education Programme due to being Monday, 5th May 2008.
Level 1 (Elementary I) is for beginners. It will involve 20 hours of instruction and an assessment, normally over a period of 5 weeks. The course will focus on functional communication and skills instruction, with an emphasis on building spoken communicative competency.
Two-hour classes will be held twice a week, normally on Mondays and Wednesdays and/or Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7.00pm – 9.00pm.
Certificates will be awarded upon completion of the course. The fee for each course is B$180.00 and has to be paid in full to the Language Centre upon submission of a completed Registration Form. Please note that all fees are non-refundable once you have registered for a course, unless the Language Centre cannot run the course. The course will require a minimum number of 10 participants in order to run.
Former Level I participants who wish to continue to Level II and above should contact their previous lecturers to confirm registration for their chosen course.
