The programme leading to the Master of Science (MSc) in Primary Health Care is conducted part-time and will be delivered in a modular format, with 15 modules being delivered over 3 years. Each module will last 4 days and there will be one module approximately every 2 months. Between modules, participants will be required to complete to a variety of assignments. Students will be taught by a team of visiting lecturers from the Ministry of Health who have gained international qualifications in the medical education and family medicine.

Evaluate the evidence base of medicine as applied to primary care |

Develop evidence-based guidelines for implementation in Brunei Darussalam Primary Care or in any other Primary Care settings. |

Be able to perform sophisticated analysis and critical peer reviews of clinical consultations |

Develop enhanced skills in audit as relevant to Primary Care |
|
Develop skills in academic writing and research techniques |
|
Integrate knowledge of education theory into Continuing Medical Education and health education. |
|
Enhance leadership and management skills as appropriate to Primary Care. |
