The Centre provides a weekend long (Thursday till
Sunday) Field course catering for Biology and Geography
students at secondary level, especially at 'O' and
'A' levels.
During their stay at the Centre, students have
a unique opportunity to live and study in
an area of unspoiled tropical rainforest.
They take part in a
long trek through the jungle, climbing to a height of over 300 metres
studying the living and non-living components
of the forest on the way. They also have
the opportunity to carry out investigations into the 'working' of the
rainforest.
Back at the Centre there are slide shows and
opportunities to see some of the specimens
collected from the forest.
