MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (MBA)

The MBA programme provides managers and potential managers (in both the private and public sector) with the necessary knowledge, skills, attitudes and tools to develop a creative, proactive and professional approach to management within a framework of innovation, excellence and internationalism. Specific objectives of the programme include:

  • Providing a clear understanding of the social, political and economic environments in which businesses operate;
  • Fostering critical and innovative thinking to solve problems;
  • Providing analytical skills in functional areas of business;
  • Refining interpersonal skills for healthy working relationships with colleagues, staff, and clientele;
  • Developing positive attitudes that help life-long learning;
  • Making managers more socially responsible; and
  • Building self-confidence to face various challenges in competitive and volatile environments.

All courses for the MBA are conducted in English.

The distinguishing features of this programme are:

  • A broad curriculum with intensive  interaction among all participants;
  • Availability of a range of electives for practicing managers;
  • The possibility of learning in live interactive sessions with eminent business schools overseas through teleconferencing; and
  • An opportunity to learn advanced management topics coupled with practical applications in a cross-section of organisations in Brunei Darussalam and elsewhere in the world.
