This programme is intended primarily
to meet the demands of the public service and of
others interested in public sector management and
policy-making. It involves developing an understanding
of the context of policy, the processes of policy-making
and analysis of the outcome and impact of policies.
Research skills are promoted through a specialist
course and the completion of a case study. Students
are able to specialize in any of a number of policy
areas, including social, economic, environmental
and foreign policies through their selection of
elective courses.
